Local Elections 2026 in Prague 2: The Green Party on the „Praha 2 sobě“ movement’s neighbourhood list

Prague 2 is a beautiful, vibrant and exceptional district. But beauty alone is not enough. A city should not just be maintained – it should be managed wisely. We want a Prague 2 where people can live well, walk safely to school, where businesses thrive, where council flats are available at affordable rents and do not stand empty, where schools receive support, where trees survive the heat, and where public spaces are not restricted by unmanaged traffic and commercial tourism.

Given that there is a movement in our borough with which we see eye to eye on a number of issues. We do not want a local council that merely muddles through a term of office. We want a local council that tackles challenges before they become problems. Because high-quality public spaces, affordable housing, schools and a responsible approach to the environment are not issues for just one party, but for the future of the entire neighbourhood. Our policy is simple: less talk, more results.
We are joining forces in this year’s local elections. You’ll find us on the neighbourhood list of the Praha 2 sobě movement. Running for us is lawyer Anna Junková, who is co-chair of the Green Party in Prague 2.

DATES

Date of the local elections: 9 and 10 October 2026 (polling stations will be open on both Friday and Saturday).
Concurrent elections: The first round of the elections to the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic will also take place on the same dates.
